Bhutan, a Buddhist kingdom on the Himalayas’ eastern edge, is known for its monasteries, fortresses (or dzongs) and dramatic landscapes that range from subtropical plains to steep mountains and valleys. In the High Himalayas, peaks such as 7,326m Jomolhari are popular trekking destinations. Paro Taktsang monastery (also known as Tiger’s Nest) clings to cliffs above the forested Paro Valley.

Bhutan is a place of full of surprises where this unique place has no traffic lights but adopted its own version of the British – Indian colonial times traffic policemen who can startle you and memorize others with his elaborate hand gestures, sometimes he may be signaling stop when it looks like go but don’t worry you can observe the flow and notice his smile as you stare at him.

Day 01: Arrival at Thimphu

Arrive at Paro International Airport, meet with our representative at airport who will assist the entire trip.Transfer to the hotel and rest of the day at leisure overnight at Thimphu.

Day 02: Thimphu sightseeing

After breakfast visit Folk Heritage Museum, National Library and Handicraft Center to view the traditional arts, take a glimpse of TashichhoDzong. Further drive uphill and visit Takin Zoo where you will find national animal of Bhutan. After lunch visit National Memorial Chorten, a stupa dedicated to the third king of Bhutan and Buddha statue. Evening walk to the main city from Clock tower square. Have dinner overnight at Thimphu.

Day 03: Paro valley

After breakfast drive to Paro valley and visit the ruins of DrukgyelDzong, a 17th century fortress that used to keep invaders from Tibet and in 1951 the fort was destroyed by fire. Leisuretime for shopping rest of the day. Have dinner overnightstay at Paro.

Day 04: Paro Sightseeing

After breakfast visitTa Dzong national museum is one of the best natural history museums in Asia. Just below Ta Dzong lies Paro Dzong. After lunch visit Kyichu Lhakhang the monastery dates back to 7th century is one of the oldest and most sacred place and visit farm house to see villagers lifestyle, explore town for shopping or leisure. Have dinner overnight stay at Paro.

Day 05: Haa Valley excursion

After breakfast proceed go for excursion trip to Haa Valley. Overnight stay at Paro.
