KOLKATA

Kolkata (formerly Calcutta) is the capital of India's West Bengal state. Founded as an East India Company trading post, it was India's capital under the British Raj from 1773–1911. Today it’s known for its grand colonial architecture, art galleries and cultural festivals. It’s also home to Mother House, headquarters of the Missionaries of Charity, founded by Mother Teresa, whose tomb is on site.

DARJEELING

Darjeeling is a town in India's West Bengal state, in the Himalayan foothills. Once a summer resort for the British Raj elite, it remains the terminus of the narrow-gauge Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, or “Toy Train,” completed in 1881. It's famed for the distinctive black tea grown on plantations that dot its surrounding slopes. Its backdrop is Mt. Kanchenjunga, among the world’s highest peaks.

Day 1: Howrah

Arrival at Howrah Railway Station then drive to hotel check, after fresh up visit to Kolkata local sightseeing visit to Victoria memorial, (Closed on Monday) belur math, dakhineswar temple, kalighat then have Dinner proceed to Sealdah railway station to board train to NJP.

Day 2: New Jaipaiguri Railway Station

Meet & Greet on arrival at NJP station & transfer to Siliguri hotel for freshen up & breakfast then drive to Darjeeling, check in to the hotel, have lunch, after freshen up leisure for shopping & Overnight stay in the Hotel in Darjeeling.

Day 3: Darjeeling Local

Early Morning visit Tiger Hill famous for sunrise over Mt. Kanchendzonga, on way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop and back to hotel. After breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, PN Zoological Park (closed on Thursday) Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refuge Centre (closed on Sunday), Tea Garden (outer view), and back to hotel. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Day 4: Darjeeling to Bagdogra drop

After breakfast check out from hotel then drop at Bagdogra airport for return journey.
